The owner has been active in farming his entire life.

He knew there was a need for adding something new to the farm for a continued source of income for his generation and generations to follow. He wanted the company to be a positive role model for his family, the community and the employees who depend on the success of the company.

Already growing soybeans and understanding the benefits of eating soy, he decided to pursue the venture into a dry roasted soy snack. In 1998, the owner custom built a small roaster to try out this idea. Small batches were made during the slow winter months and were handed out to friends and family for them to try. A positive result was established for the snack and it was decided to conduct tasting surveys to the general public during local craft fairs to see if there would be a market for his product. Once again, a positive feedback was received. After years of research, marketing survey’s and a passion for the venture succeeding, it was decided to pursue this endeavor and purchase the equipment  necessary  to sale the soy snack products within the snack food industry.  The owner wanted the dry roasted soy snacks to be healthy and tasty, with fewer additives and preservatives so the consumer or consumers that may be allergic to other nuts could find themselves munching on a snack that tasted great and was beneficial for them.  After a lot of trial and error, prayers and hard work, here we are today.
